Tell Mavrin Labs what is stuck

Mavrin Labs starts every engagement with one conversation about one workflow. Send an enquiry saying what is stuck and which systems it touches, and the team will come back to you by email. There is nothing to buy on this page and nothing to sign.

How do you send an enquiry?

The form below asks six things: four so that a reply can reach you, and two about the work itself. The two about the work are the ones that matter, and a few sentences each is plenty. Someone at Mavrin Labs reads every enquiry that arrives and answers it by email, and where the answers describe a project worth doing, the reply suggests a conversation and says what it would cover. No response time is stated here, because none has been set. What reaches Mavrin Labs goes to the firm's own inbox, is read by its own people and is used only to answer you, as the privacy policy sets out.

Send an enquiry

So a reply can address you properly.

The address the reply goes to.

Optional. Give one only if you would rather talk than write; the reply goes by email either way.

Optional, and useful when it tells us what the work has to fit around.

The result you want, and when you would want it working. Two or three sentences are plenty.

The task as it actually happens, roughly how often it runs, and which systems it touches.

What you send goes to the Mavrin Labs inbox and is used to answer you, and a phone number, if you give one, is used for the same thing and nothing else. Fields marked with an asterisk are the ones a reply needs.

If the form does not send, write to [email protected] instead; it reaches the same inbox.

What does the first conversation cover?

The first conversation covers the result you want, the systems you run today and the timing you have in mind. The questions are about the task as it actually happens rather than as a process document describes it, and the three answers together decide whether there is a project worth doing at all.

  1. 01

    The result you want

More revenue, or more hours back for the people already doing the work. Which one matters more here, and roughly what it would be worth.

  2. 02

    The systems you run

What your staff open each day, by what the tools do rather than by brand, and where information has to be typed twice.

  3. 03

    The timing

When you would want this working, and what else is already competing for your team's attention.

What happens after the conversation?

After the conversation, if there is a project worth doing, a written scope follows it. The scope names what would be built, what result it should reach and how that result would be checked, and the investment is agreed against the scope rather than guessed at beforehand. The stages after that point are set out on how engagements work.

Nothing is signed in the conversation itself, and no scope is written before the task is understood well enough to describe it.

How else can you reach Mavrin Labs?

Mavrin Labs can be reached by email as well as through the enquiry above, and both arrive in the same place. Writing to [email protected] works just as well when you would rather describe the problem in your own words first and read an answer before you commit to a conversation.

Mavrin Labs publishes no phone number of its own, and this site carries no map and no street address, because the firm keeps no public premises. The enquiry form asks for your own number only so that a reply can be spoken rather than typed, and leaving it empty changes nothing about how the enquiry is read. More of the questions buyers ask before they get in touch are answered on the FAQ.

Frequently asked questions

What happens after you send an enquiry?

After an enquiry arrives, someone at Mavrin Labs reads it and comes back to you by email. No response time is promised on this page, because none has been set, and promising one that the firm does not keep to would be worse than saying so plainly. Where there looks to be a project worth doing, the reply suggests a conversation and says what it would cover.

What should an enquiry say?

An enquiry is most useful when it names the task that is costing you the most time, roughly how often it runs and which systems it touches. Describe the systems by what they do rather than by what they are called, if that is easier. A short note is enough; nothing has to be written up formally before anyone will read it.

Who reads what is sent?

Mavrin Labs reads every enquiry itself, with its own people, and nothing is passed to an outside agency or a lead broker. What you send goes to the firm's own inbox and is used to answer you, which is all it is used for. The privacy policy on this site sets out exactly what is collected and how long it is kept.

What does the first conversation cover?

The first conversation covers three things, in this order: the result you want, the systems you run today, and the timing you have in mind. It is a working conversation rather than a presentation, and it ends with a plain answer about whether Mavrin Labs is the right firm to build what you need, whether or not you go ahead.

Is the conversation held in person?

Conversations are held by video by default, which suits clients anywhere. An in-person meeting can be arranged in Sarasota County or Manatee County where that helps the work, at your own place of work rather than at an office of the firm, because Mavrin Labs keeps no public premises. Everywhere else, the first conversation and the work that follows happen remotely.

Can you write by email instead?

Writing by email instead of sending the enquiry is perfectly fine, and [email protected] reaches the firm directly. A short note saying what is stuck and which systems are involved is enough to get a useful reply. Either route reaches the same inbox and the same people, so use whichever is quicker for you.
